    • Listened to this song on the way home from a trip in the mountains. I woke up on the top of a mountain 6000 feet up after hiking 5 miles and sleeping through a wind storm using sleeping pills. I became addicted to sleeping because of depression. It was my only escape. My dad woke me up and said the "sun is rising". I woke up and unzipped my tent to the most beautiful thing Ive ever seen. It gave me hope, happiness, and some other strange feeling that stuck with me for the rest of the day. This feeling that everything will be okay in the end because it will. We hiked back through forests, creeks and past waterfalls on the side of a mountain after watching the sun rise.Nothing mattered in those moments looking back, just pure peace. Then I heard this song headed back and it brought me back to that moment of pure bliss. I think it saved my life. I found myself again.

    • “You look like yourself, but you’re somebody else.” My ex-wife told me this after I returned from Afghanistan, it took me a long time to accept that I would never be who I was before I went there.
