The first time I ever heard this song was on a vhs my grandad had recorded from the TV broadcast of TNN (The Nashville Network) the fella was playing a banjo and would use the tuning knobs to slide the notes. I was beyond fasinated by it. I wish I could find it on here.
A close, now sadly deceased friend of mine asked me if I had heard of it.I thought he was joking, as he often did.I started listening to it and thought it was another of his mind bobbles.I was amazed.Us hard drinking and weed smoking mill workers nearly fell down at how really pretty this is.Amazing to me; to this day.
My late husband knew how much I dearly loved that simple (beautiful) tune and I collect music boxes. He went out of his way to find one. Finally, he found something else that played MBD. He took it apart and inserted it into a music box.
