This is a really beautiful video about how it shows every person from various backgrounds with various race and creeds, then see them smile that they are human beings who are unique individuals with souls who feel sadness, happiness, and griefs just like the rest of us. It makes me wonder are we that really different and the ignorance we are thought to believe in the hate of difference of others and deny their humanity.
Been listening to Hiphop since 1980, run dmc, grandmaster flash etc, My fave of all time is Krs one an intelligent underground rapper, from the people with the respect of the people, Lowkey is from the same mould.
This is such an underrated track. Even just the words "so fear not", that he repeats to say that there is hardship in dislocation and not belonging, but there is also the potential for greatness, of substance, to rise out of a diaspora and serve as role models for people who may feel lost or are actively being misled by others... So deep!
