when I first saw this video, I thought it was about a man who lost someone and in need of some sort of closure, but now, I think this song and the video is about adulthood, how we fight to belong (in the house of conformism, and security), fight with ourselves, fight with our fears and insecurities. But at the end we must let go our fears and go, be who we are and find the meaning to our lives
What I take away from this beautiful video and song is a powerful message of faith. Relating humans to the deer who is taken care of day after day living by faith with no ability to plan for the future. And Idris represents a human who decides to let go of control and live by faith running toward the light. I love all of the close calls and things that could have gone wrong but everything works out and he is free.
