Vinyl (and analogue in general) has always sounded better than digital and particularly MP3; the music just seems to ooze out of the speakers. There may have been more hiss (from tapes) and crackles (from records) but the actual sound was massively better. I bought this 12” single in England back in 1980 when I was 15...
