Today is April 16th and this is the day I stood in gate A11 and watched my plane leave without me. Because I was too afraid to make a decision. So I let someone else decide for me. I heard them call my name to board. I told them I would not be flying. Two minutes later I went back and asked if I could change my mind. She said, “it’s too late,” and pointed out the window. I was going to meet the man I have been in love with for nearly 12 years. But for 9 years I have been trapped in a deep psychological vice of a relationship that I have tried leaving every day. I thought I could leave today. But in the end I could not get on that plane. And I will regret it forever.If you are stuck... do whatever you can to get unstuck. And take the leap of faith. Just jump. Because you will regret what you do not do. I am starting therapy next week. I won’t be late for destiny next time.
