A great girl group record that got buried by The British Invasion. It may have received some airplay on WMCA New York in early 1964. Not a big hit in New York and that was unfortunate.
This was a hit in Raleigh, North Carolina and 442 Glenwood Avenue was the address of what was then the Pine State Creamery, supplier of the best dairy products around.
One of the great Girl Group songs of all time. Met the girls years ago in Ocean City, Md. and after their show they actually sang this song (and a personal "we love you Tommy") into my little tape recorder. I transferred it to cd and love playing it over and over. I was 15 when 442 came out and it blew me away.

I was just a kid, but I remember this song well, and more than 50 years later I still love it!
